Our Veterinarians
Dr. Erin Henderson
Dr. Henderson has been practicing at Lyon Veterinary Clinic since 2007. She is a 2006 graduate from Michigan State University and enjoys veterinary medicine for the challenge it presents in helping patients and their clients, but also for the relationships she develops with families and their pets. She has a special interest in brachycephalic airway procedures as well as internal medicine cases. In her free time, she has a busy family with her husband Eric, and their 5 boys, two cats, and a dog. Gardening, cooking, and reading are her favorite activities to unwind.

Dr. Anna Schultz
Dr. Schultz practiced as an Army Veterinarian from 2015 to 2024 before joining the team at Lyon Veterinary Clinic. She graduated with DVM and MPH degrees from Michigan State University and enjoys veterinary medicine as a way to nurture the human and animal bond, with a One Health perspective. Working animal medicine and low-stress handling are some of her many passions. When not herding cats (and dogs), she is always ready for a game of volleyball or Catan.

Our Team Members
Eric
Business Manager
Eric joined the practice in 2021 as the business manager. He’s excited to join Dr. Henderson in managing the practice and building relationships with clients and patients in the community. He’s been active in the South Lyon area for many years, as part of Boy Scout Troops and Packs, coaching Panther’s football and SLJL baseball teams. He enjoys fishing, gardening, and working on home improvement projects.
Kelly
Kelly is our team lead, and our most experienced staff member, having been in the industry for over 20 years. She enjoys working with all patients and creating great relationships with clients. She doesn’t have any pets currently, but rottweilers and dachshunds are her favorites. She enjoys learning about the latest medical advances and treatment options for patients. Summer is her favorite time of the year, and spending that time with friends and family.
Victoria
Victoria is one of our hard-working technicians and has been in veterinary practices since 2021. She enjoys working with people who love animals like she does, and the constant opportunities to learn new things. She has one pet, a rescue dog named Buddy, and enjoys volunteering at the humane society, photography, and traveling. She’s working towards finishing her schooling to become a licensed veterinary technician.
Hannah
Hannah has been working with us since 2021 and now works as a technician. She has really enjoyed working with animals and helping educate their owners on the best care options. Always happy to learn new things, she is hoping to go back to school and become a licensed veterinary technician, perhaps with a specialization. She doesn’t have any pets right now but plans to soon. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing, movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Christina
Christina has been working as a technician since 2020 and finds a lot of fulfillment in providing a voice for patients who can’t speak for themselves and in developing relationships with clients. She has a strong interest in the human-animal bond, behavior, and nutrition. In her spare time with her husband Matt, she enjoys reading, painting, and time with friends and family and their dog Maxwell. She hopes to return to school and become a licensed veterinary technician.
Hayley
Hayley joined our team in 2023. She’s enjoyed working in veterinary medicine for the first time and loves being able to spend time with animals all day. She has two kitties named Chessure and Yuli. In her free time, Hayley enjoys video games and painting.
Sara
Sara joined our practice in 2024 and although she has not specifically worked in Veterinary medicine before, she has been around horses since the age of 3, and she has had a passion for animals since she can remember. Sara has a dog named Ziti and a horse named Bacco, who has hair the same color as her! Fun fact about her is she grew up in Germany and has dual citizenship. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horse, watching Formula 1, and spending time with her friends and family.
