Rabbits and Small Mammals
our team is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your furry friend.
Comprehensive Veterinary Services for Rabbits and Small Mammal Care
At Lyon Veterinary Clinic, we are dedicated to providing top-quality care for rabbits and small mammals. Exotic pets need care just like dogs and cats, and we are proud to offer this service to the community. Bringing your rabbit or pocket pet in for an initial exam to learn how best to care for them can help get your new pet off on the right path.

Advanced Services for Rabbits and Pocket Pets
Sterilization is important for our smaller patients to help prevent unwanted litters, and improve overall patient health. We offer neutering procedures for male patients. We do not at this time offer spaying procedures for female patients. Our Class IV therapy laser is a very useful tool for these smaller patients as it is drug-free and can help address painful and infectious problems with minimal to no side effects.
Husbandry Consultations
Our team of veterinary professionals is experienced in managing a range of problems in our small pets. Often good husbandry, diet, and housing, can address most problems or prevent them completely. At each appointment, especially your initial visit, we will discuss best practices for your pet and recommend changes or improvements where we think they can help.
